Geoffrey "Jeff" Buss

Geoffrey & Co. is led by Geoffrey ("Jeff") Buss, who has spent more than 25 years in financial services and new venture strategy. The firm's first assignment was advising a single-family office on the acquisition of an energy storage company in Switzerland; since then, Mr. Buss and Geoffrey & Co. have helped develop and finance concepts and technologies across engineering, construction, entertainment, media, and technology.
Mr. Buss holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was also named a Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneur, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois. A former scholar-athlete, he brings the same discipline to assembling and leading engagement teams that he once brought to competitive athletics.
